Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Western Macedonia Campus TEI Kozani

Technological Education Institute (TEI) of Western Macedonia (Greek: Τεχνολογικό Εκπαιδευτικό Ίδρυμα (ΤΕΙ) Δυτικής Μακεδονίας) is a state-run institute of higher education, founded in 1976 and  based in Kozani, Greece. The institution also operates campuses in the nearby towns of Kastoria, Florina, Grevena, and Ptolemaida.


Department of Mechanical and Industrial Design Engineering

The basic aim of the Dept. of Mechanical and Industrial Design Engineering Department is to provide high standards of education to its students, both in theoretical and in practical levels, in order  for them to become qualified to pursue their own business, as well as to join public and private enterprises. In addition, the department aims at producing applied research in the various scientific disciplines that relate to the design and development process of industrial products. 

The department has also placed an additional goal: to be in constant contact with the relative industry, targeting the provision of scientific and technical advice as well as of specialized training, while receiving valuable feedback useful to its educational process.
